  • This is a great little game that i could see fitting on our arcade platform well. The performance issues let you down the game was really difficult to even get playing. It doesn't work on mac and as previously stated this didnt effect your rating. The game on firefox in windows was really hard to play and took forever to load and had various memory/lag issues. On chrome we got to play it with a long load time. Which is a shame because there definitely was some cool elements in this game. The judges that did play this game all liked the mechanics and implementation with some work it could be a really good fit for the arcade.

Another ninja game. Love the monochrome!

Good game, creative art style!

Couldn't figure out how to surpass the "Some places are too high, use your dagger to..." 😅

Developer

You have to aim the mouse cursor towards the bottom of the character and then fire the dagger mid-air to perform a double jump! Enjoy :)

creative mechanics and well desinged game

Solid game. I think it just needs a little tuning. The pacing could be increased, and there are some button conflicts that are a little frustrating.

For example, you are holding up, climbing a ladder, press left to jump to another ladder, while still holding up, but you need to release up, then press it again to continue climbing on the new ladder.

Great start though!

Ngl i tested the example you provided and it works exactly opposite how you said it

I was rooting for this project when you showed it at the discord channel, and in the end it's really good. Clean graphics, responsive controls, nice level design.

Only two problems. Sometimes the sword would fly in slightly different direction than I'd anticipate (not straight at the mouse cursor).

The other is less of a problem and more of my personal preference. I like, when in platformers up is not jump. For example space.

Really cool game, keep up the good work!

Yeah the sword is its own entity, but always flies in the cursor direction, the only variable is its current position so i understand where this comes from

With the up/spacebar, im exactly opposite, prefer to have all the buttons next to each other :P

a toggle would be good, i will make sure to add this in my future games

Love the feel and the puzzle element.  Godot right?  Awesome entry!!!!

I'll come back to this game as there is a surprising amount of content here for a jam.  Well done!

Developer
