Really cool! A lot of really tense moments, and didn't leave me disheartened after each death. 10/10
Idk why but it crashed my computer 3 times lol
Were you able to get it working?
Unfortunately, no
what an amazing game!
This art style is soo good! And the music is very ominous! It's a bit annoying to get stuck on the terrain sometimes, but this mouse movement still is a really refreshing alternative.
Thank you very much! I loved your game too, it had a super unique concept that I've never seen before!
The art is amazing and the environment feels so alive. I really like the movement with the mouse and thought it was a nice option instead of aswd. I was a bit confused how to play at first but really enjoyed the game.
I'm glad you liked it! Your game was a really nice twist on classic top down gameplay.
Thank you!
Really well polished, and some amazing unique gameplay. My only problem with it would be that it's not really clear what you're supposed to do, and how to do it, despite the explanation at the start. Overall though, amazing game! :)
Thank you for the feedback! I'm glad it seems polished but yeah I do 100% agree the gameplay needs to be explained more in the beginning. I really liked your submission by the way!
The game looks and feels very polished, but there doesn't seem to be any goal, and if there is, then it wasn't explained to me
Also, movement can be very unresponsive at times, and it's rather annoying
Despite those two things, the game is very good in terms of graphics
That's fair. The goal of the game is to craft the "Final Sacrifice" to feed to the frog. It is explained in the tutorial screen, but I agree that it's pretty vague. There is a recipe for it in the book on the bottom right side of the screen. As for the movement, there are some navigation issues (like not being able to path around an object very well) that we didn't have the time to fix. Sorry for the inconvenience and thank you for the feedback! .;,;.
nice. really polished. btw what engine did you use the file doesn't look like anything ive seen before
This was made in GameMaker Studio 2.
