Tremendous job on the visual style - I appreciate the color matching, it makes the game so much prettier to watch. Too bad the resolution is locked - it would definitely be more enjoyable to have a larger resolution to play with.
Great job, I truly see real game potential in this!
Great game!
It’s really tense.
The atmosphere is amazing!
Just wished there was music during the intro.
Good job!
Didn't manage to finish the game, but it's quite fun! I like the animations, and the gameplay reminds me of a flash game i forget the name
There was a time when i open a door, the killer spawn right in front of me and makes me losing health. don't know if it was intentional
Good job overall!
Thank you, glad you found it fun!
There's a timer whenever the killer didn't appear or even if she chases you, so that shouldn't have happent.
I was hoping that bug got fixed, guess not. :D
Thanks for the feedback!
nice
Thanks!
Yo i shit myself!
Nice game!
Best comment, hands down.
Also thanks!
Really fun game - a lot more detail and function packed in than immediately meets the eye. It was a little bit tricky at the beginning to figure out the item system, as it's not immediately obvious that the items then need to be used elsewhere in the game world (could I set the room on fire with the gasoline and burn the murderer?!)
All in all, excellent! Well done.
Thank you, I am glad you enjoyed it!
In the end, I decided not to reveal that the car must be fixed, I wanted people to find on their own, so that the game feels more mysterious and people feel more desperate so that they have to figure out what to do exactly. Not sure if it was the best call, I can see how that can confuse people and make them wonder what's the purpose of the items they find and how they can use them.
Bruh, I opened too many doors I exited to reality (the game crashed) haha. Overall nice concept and gameplay. I see potential winner here, good luck!
That happened to me too
Hey, thanks for the feedback! It's strange the game crashes like this. The way I handled it, is that the game runs in a single scene and I only load in and out the rooms as you go through them. During playtesting this didn't happen to me nor my friends. I guess it could be some rare bug or maybe something software/hardware specific... Maybe running the entire game in a single scene like that is not a good idea with Godot's engine. I'll have to look into it!
Thank you for the praise, appreciate it!
Fun!! Great job
Thank you, I'm happy you had fun!
Fun game!
Like tjboor1, I thought that the firepoker was a weapon.
At a moment, I was hidding in a wardrobe (last floor) but the death was at the same floor, a few meters to the left, blocking the chairs and not moving.
I had no choice but to get hurt. I wish the death could have move to the right to see if I was back there! Or go to another floor --> could be scaring to find her in front of you on floor change!
I really should have seen that people would think of the firepoker as a weapon, haha.
Do you remember how long you've waited? When the killer enters the room, first she sniffs around and then there's an RNG roll to see what she does next (She can leave, turn around & sniff or approach your location). In theory, she could keep sniffing for a while, but of course, it is possible that her AI got actually stuck.
Thank you for the feedback, I am glad you had fun!
Really fun game, though the items confused me at first since i couldn't do the things i first thought of, like using the fire poker as a weapon, and i couldn't get past the murderer without getting hit. But it was a really fleshed out game and a fantastic experience. got kinda spooked when the lights got turned off on me
You cannot get past the murdered without getting hit on the purpose, I felt like it was too easy to avoid danger if you could just run past. Not sure if it takes away from the fun of the game, but I was trying to make the killer real danger so that the player must be mindful and sees her as a threat.
It did not occur to me me that someone might assume that the firepoker is a weapon, that's a good observation.
Thank you for your feedback, glad you had fun!
