FOR EVERYONE WHO WANT TO DOWNLOAD THE GAME - PLEASE READ THIS:
The game isn't in a normal state when I uploaded it, which means you can't play it if you just download it.
TO PLAY THE GAME:
1. Open the file gameDescriptorTest.txt.
2. search for the word START (it's near the end)
3. delete it, and paste it in the very first line of the file (in it's own line, without anything else in that line. Just "START").
4. save and close
5. Open the file main.gd
6. search for the line "success = 0" (near the end as well)
7. delete it
8.save and close
Now the game will work like normal without any issues - Enjoy!

Hehe nice job! I like the story take on the different choices, I liked how I thought I was going to really need to know something when I saw the host. Glad I “made it home” in the game, in reality my family is having a virtual Christmas this year. Stay Safe, Stay Home! keep up the game dev work!!!!

Just played it!

And I must say I liked it.

I loved pissing off the host by answering the most anti-government answers, and I still got home for the holidays thanks to the audience.

The comments for the audience, when I had enough time to read them were nice.

I’m just puzzled on why you didn’t export the game instead of providing the sources and the Godot engine… it would have been a smaller download and a better experience.

Other than that, good job!

Thanks for all the good words :)

We did try to export it normally, but it was completely broken for some reason (not the first time this happens too...)

So we had to do it this way

Warning and also note to dev:
This is not a joke, for anyone attempting to play this game. Be aware that after you finish the game, the game will automatically exited to desktop and will start multiple instances of the game again at once. It almost broke my laptop and I have to manually go into the task manager and end all the tasks. (This issue might and might not happen to you so just be aware)

As for the game itself (might contain spoilers):
There're a lot of works were put into the games and I can see great amount of details especially in the sound department. It's your typical question and answer type-of-game.  The host remark and emotion kinda annoy me sometime lol.

Most of the questions kinda personal, subjective  and doesn't  actually test the player's intellect.  Some question do require the player have some extend of knowledge (history etc..) .

The mini-game is simple but it implement the use of sound to indicate the time limit of the game which is great.

The chat feature is kinda a miss for me because I usually ignore them.

The game ending kinda explain the nature of the question being asked so you'll understand the whole purpose of the gameshow.

Hey, thanks for the feedback!

This is very concerning that this happened to you when playing... I don't know why it happened, and even if I did, I could not help you because I can't update the game now...
Thank you for letting everyone know though!
