A super cute game, great work!
Love the art, reminds me of the Rainbow Fish! Swimming around is pretty fun too, avoiding the moonfish with a well-timed dash feels pretty satisfying.
Oh yeah, I think so too! That was a good book :D
Thanks for playing!
Very polish visual and music, nice controls of the fish!
I was a little confused that I would sometime slow down for no apparent reasons, but except for that, very nice little game.
Good job!

Fantastic entry for the jam, I LOVED the art. The gameplay was good and felt balanced with the challenge-level. Sounds fit perfectly as well.
Thank you so much! I will try your game soon :]
No worries, here's the timestamp of my stream when we played your game, if you'd like. Sometimes written comments are hard!
Ohh thanks for sharing, that was fun to watch!
The art is the best part of this game! The music is also good! Unfortunately, there seems to be no way to get away from the angry moonfish. I tried to make them run into a pufferfish, but they seem to just go right through them. The angry moonfish are the exactly the same speed as the player so there is no getting away from them. I don't see how the theme was implemented.
Oh yeah, that's fair! The moonfish constantly chasing means you aren't collectable but also it drops decoy starfish that slow you down. But you also have a dash so you can put some space between you and the moonfish. Definitely could use some polish. Thanks for the feedback 😁
I also double dipped and did another jam at the same time that was "keep moving forward" so I tried to straddle both themes.
That's my bad. I should have read the controls on the itch.io page. I just expect games to have the controls inside the game itself. That dash is really useful!
I wanted to display the controls in game I just ran out of time 😭
Game jams are hard 😅
I really love the art style for your game!
Thank you <3 My wife worked really hard on it! I tried to make it look good but her drawings were doing the heavy lifting!
