This is a sequel to my earlier game "The Frog Made of Jam." It's certainly a sequel that nobody asked for.

This was fun. I like the art and music which feel consistent. Somewhere around level 8 the game got pretty challenging with enemies all over the screen and while that provided some tension and forced me to play smarter it also led to plenty of situations where there was basically nothing to do but take a hit. I did like that the hitboxes of the fish/crabs weren't their entire body but just a small piece which allows for the player to learn over time just what is and isn't safe and take advantage of that information. I got to level 10 and died just before the checkpoint for the 11th which was too much to continue. Some variation in the enemies would have been nice given that after all the obstacles are introduced its just that in higher concentrations from then on.
It's weird in the best way and it's cute. I love how different the art style is. Only flaw I can think of is that I find myself wanting to go a little faster, a sprint or dash might be a nice addition.
