Pros:

  • Cute and fun

Cons:

  • Slightly unpredictable

This is a very cute execution of a staggeringly embarrassing and destructive reality, which is probably the right way to go about something of this subject matter. It's a blast to have the NOG-GUY launch himself, typically butt first, across the levels. It's a bit odd playing fullscreen and having the cursor be able to go offscreen and for that to seem like it's necessary for some of the puzzles, but it wasn't too far of a stretch. It's a bit short, and I felt that there was some randomness as to when or how hard the NOG-GUY would respond to clicks regardless of distance, but when it counted it tended to work and that was good. Well done and welcome to the AwfulJams, I hope to see more stuff of yours in future!

Funny game! I included it in my compilation video of all of the Awful Holiday 2018 games!

Bless!

(x/post) Goofy little ragdoll physics-puzzler.  Quick and funny, this one doesn't overstay its welcome.  A couple fine puzzles, some physics wrestling, all in a nice package.  For being a small present, it oozes style!

This controls surprisingly well for what it is. Overall solid work, only real criticism I can think of is some levels are a little claustrophobic.

I also encountered a bug where I got through the level but it counted it as a failure and sent me back a stage..

I have a hint as to why that might be... you're moved to the next level when your torso is at least 32px off the right side of the screen. however, if you're 32px BELOW the bottom of the screen, it counts as a fail. It's not common since all levels end with your character at minimum 64px from the bottom, but if you exit slowly enough you could theoretically fall off the stage without clearing the 32px x-value. I can fix this tonight!

Actually I won’t because judging hasn’t happened yet lmao but thank you so much for the heads up!

Great job. The puzzle design feels really polished and the physics work surprisingly well.

This was a lot of fun! Thanks for making a game.

It runs fine with wine in linux, except it didn't like to go fullscreen.
