Track description | Creative process
Tried to make the same groovy mood, big band jazzy sound, based on a easy minor blues.

Nice blue track, I don't think it sounds like a boss track, you used some elements of the original OST but it lacks some groove and energy. It was a pleasure to listen to this, even if distant from the assignment.

Aw yeah, that opening! Love the big band sound. The bass line is nice and bluesy, I think you could make it even more impactful in a lower register, maybe a beefier-sounding synth, or maybe EQ it with the low filters cranked up a bit? The piano solo is awesome but I think I'd get distracted if this was the music for the boss level since I'd be too busy listening to the soundtrack 😅great job!

What a fantastic bass line! It went super well with the ostentatious proposal of the piano in an unbelievable way. Congratulations. I'd just put the instruments more spread out in the spatiality of the mix: Bass and Drums in the center, Piano as wide as possible and the rest wherever you wanted, which would only give it more Groove.

It has a great, authentic funk line running through it.

Wow, this is great. Love how in contrast to the original the song that starts with a rough filthy bassline, this one starts off with a very smooth groovy bassline. I don't have anything to add on the composition, really cool stuff. My only gripe is, it doesn't really give that boss battle energy for me.
