The black crystals were pretty annoying. It's not apparent what they do at first and even slightly touching them means instant death.
It's not clear at first what your items do and when you experiment with them you have to die to get more. A good puzzle game like portal lets you experiment plenty without having to restart.
It's also not clear what you can use your items on and not. For example, on the 2nd level the thruster works on the rotating platform but not the other orb.
Also the instruction papers can be easy to miss. I didn't see the first one immediately. It doesn't seem to have any text?

-serviceable UI-why can I continue without having played before-the death screen is revolutionary-touched the black block thing, screen blacked out but I didn't die (no dead message), don't get it-oh the black thing is spikes, not obvious, shouldn't kill on touch either-the crouch is too snappy-it's too easy to lose the items-didn't get I can throw them at the block until reading the game page-ground spikes killing when walking is retarded-the scroll wheel only works in one direction-figured out I can expand the shard, but can't jump on itIt looks ok, is smooth, but I need some brainlet intro.--EDITI couldn't figure shit out because of the CONTINUE, thanks devIt's too easy to fail with the instadeath spikes and forever gone orbs, but no way to quickly restart an 10s death screens, but the idea and gameplay is solid.

It was very insightful and I realised that a lot of things needs to be explained/fixed.
I hope my game wasn't too frustrating.
It was a little but I'm used to playing games in rough states so it's all good. I hope my frustrations guide you in your polishing your game. :)
I'm also fixing the floaty movement.
In the next version you will have total air control
