Overall is an RPG maker title i don't really like playing those because i'm often turned off by presentation but this is kinda cute, you really need to improve map design and general direction, the labs seems too dark and you don't have clear direction where is the wall or the ground. Desert looks flat you could easily insert some image on top of the ground title to have more duned desert feels.
