Jumping and boosting all over the map while shooting mechs is great fun, even though there is no objective yet I could do it for hours without it getting boring, I just wish there was a health powe-up so I could continue doing so indefinitely without dying!
Your damn right we need more fast mech action, and by game that's here and the influences your wearing on your sleeve you have the right idea of how to accomplish it. The momentum of the player, specifically whenever boosting is involved, is a little weird, but since it looks like it couldn't have been a month or two since development started, you're probably aware.
Also, selecting the heavy mech, game over'ing, and then selecting the light mech removes the missile launcher of the light mech. Keep it up.
