It's really hard and I suck at it. But I did try a lot, which I think is a good sign, that I wanted to keep trying despite how hard it was for me.

The speed changing ability is neat, though it seemed kind of weird to me at first. It seemed like it was just better to be faster. But as I played I realized this was actually pretty useful. Would be nice to have a sound go with speed changing. Actually, it would probably be good to have three sounds, one for each speed level. I think the clouds and mountains in the background of the first stage are too noisy. I'm bad so I'm not sure if this might have affected my ability to see and dodge projectiles but I do think it's a little distracting.

It's really sad how bad I am at these types of games, even at the lazy game tester difficulty level I died 50 times on the first level and only made it half way into the second level. I know people like me aren't the audience you're making the game for though.

The controls feel responsive and the gameplay feels exactly how you would expect it should. Overall I think fans of this genre will be really happy with your game

This is really well made and has a nice amount of content for a demo, I just have one complain: unless I am being retarded and missed it, it's not possible to change the controls. On non-english keyboards some keys are switched. In my case(germany) it's the z and y keys, I changed my settings to US to play the game but some people might not bother and miss out on it.

Don't have too much to say about this one, it keeps getting better and better.
Hope you find an artist soon, because this game totally deserves it.
