Controls and physics are excellent, they feel clean and nice. Keybinds would be great, I found myself pressing Z to jump instead of the space bar a couple of times. If you have plans of having more longer levels I would say the difficulty is a little bit too high, lava could be a little bit slower, or you could have a checkpoint after a difficult section.


You win the reward for the most purple game of DDX.

It's pretty alright, please let there be an option to press Z to jump next update.


Thank you for the feedback, I really appreciate it. I agree about your point about the lava level being a mistake, I think my problem is the fact that I've been playing my game for too long and because of that I completely misjudged the difficulty. Up until demo day I had never watched someone else play my game so my main worry posting the game was the fact that it would be too easy. I will do my best to make the wall jumping easier, I have a few ideas about how to do that.

Making your first level a lava level wasn't the best decision I think, the wall jumping is already pretty tricky because it isn't instantaneous, you hit the wall wait a bit and then do it, and trying to do it fast so you don't get caught by the lava make it even harder.
I think everything else works just fine, just keep working on it to make it feel more complete.
