So I don't really want to rate this since you didn't finish. So bugs and lack of content are no big deal--you can finish that stuff later. But I couldn't help feeling misled by the title, the cover art, and the fact that it's entered into Adventure Jam, all of which had me expecting, well, a murder mystery rather than a side scroller.

I do think your art is great--the girl and the slime mom both had very expressive and good-looking animations.

Well I died rather quickly haha. The attack is so short range that I kept getting hit every time I went to attack something. After dying the game didn't really give me any options to do anything, so I had to exit then restarted. I got through the first level my second time playing, though.

Definitely some classic character archetypes going on. What's available obviously sets up characters, but I'm curious why it's called a Murder Mystery. Would love to see where it goes when it's finished ^^
