Message from the creator(s):
The original narrative is about a mob boss who frees his shackles from a bargain made with a fae creature that controls time, who in return sends an agent to "collect the debt". We had to cut the narrative in the end but the whole concept is based on this.

That was a lot of fun! It scratched a first-person shooter itch for me which normally doesn't happen in a game made in just a few days! While this is a demo, the core gameplay is there and I think it's working quite well. My only comments are ones that'd be addressed with more polish such as better impact feedback ("Am I hitting the enemy?", "What is my bullet hitting?"), smoother run animations, smarter AI, etc. which are all addressable in the long run.
Btw I enjoyed all the little details in the audio! Filtering the music in the beginning which opens up as you enter a big fight in the main bar room, the pitching-down effect as you activate slow-mo, the music cue changes to help create atmosphere per map section, etc. If not done well, they can become distracting but it's pulled off very well here!
Thank you for your detailed feedback! We'll be addressing all the issues with the project once the jam's over, but at least we learned a little something about scope and overestimation.
Thank you for the audio compliments and feedback!
I had no idea what was going on, time reversal after death was a bit janky, Ai facing crazy directions...but honestly a pretty fun and atmospheric run-and-gun demo with some Max Payne vibes. Good job with those two days team!
Thank you for your feedback. We are glad you had loads of fun :D
I have planned many reworks for both the time reversal and AI in general. So please make sure to check out our Devlog for future updates :)
Worked nicely, had fun doing the run. I believe you guys were late joiners (correct?). Well done!
We joined on time (heh), but we had to strip down a lot from our original vision to make it. We decided about two days ago to throw together this little demo build. Gives us time to polish the actual level design and narrative to up the wow factor! Thanks for playing, though!
