i think control is based on how much power you apply to the shot, a la real pachinko games (think pinball without flippers - hold space to apply more power to the launch). otherwise, i had to play it since it was another pachinko-inspired game as was mine. alas, watching a video (presumed ad) to continue and see the game "open up" is not something i'm generally up for tho i did try once and no video  launched. also noted this is a "low effort" jam entry, so... no sound, music, etc, but it could be much more than it is.
