Cool game. Very clean style and sound! I noticed at high difficulties it catches the wrong letter sometimes. I got a perfect score (chain across all signals) and it was still the wrong word.
This could be interesting for one button control too. Holding creates the long signal, would feel even more like morsing?
You're exactly right on both points, which I realized the last day of the jam.
First, it logically makes sense to have the scoring system (like guitar hero) do one thing, and the accuracy of what's sent (literally the morse code) be independent. I thought that was logic and a neat twist. As I played it towards the end... it was just confusing for exactly as you say. They were calculated separately because I wanted mistakes in what you press to send wrong messages.
And yeah, I realized it was literally... probably a better fit for a one button game. I struggled and just ignored what to do with pressing dash too fast, if I should block input or what.
I love the idea of making the morse code into a rythm game! Sadly it looks like it is not taking some letters as it takes long signs into separate letters, writing "STTTS" instead of "SOS"

The art, music, and game play are all so smoothly themed together. I love the idea, I've considered learning Morse before but this would make it fun.

Thanks, glad you enjoyed it!

Anyway, great points! hope it was fun.

A unique and fun game

Thanks, I've added some last minute bugs. Needed to make sure it got submitted officially, and trying to clean up that exact issue.
Ok, mini panic attack over. I believe I fixed the bug. If not, I will need to fix this another time :(
No worries! Reply me when it is fixed cause I'd really like to try it :)
Give it a try! The S-T-T-T-S issue is fixed as the timing when there's a new letter was broken.
Awesome! This is very fun, congrats!
