How did you choose to implement the Theme: Cursed Jewel in your game?
They're what the main character must look for and are the basis of the "haunted house" lore.
Did you implement any of the optional Bonus Challenges, and if so, which ones?
Yes, all three of them (Kind of). The first one and third one are shown as golden statues of would-be thieves. The second one is an amulet that may or may not be useful.
Did you create your game in RPG Maker?
Yes

Gameplay - An excellent RPG Maker puzzle game, and with a full guide included for if players get stuck. 5
Story - A very fun story with likeable characters that handles the slow revelation of its characters' pasts very well. It does get a bit confusing in places though and the grammar can be a bit off at times. 4
Presentation - The map is excellent, the monochrome style suits it very well, and I love the characters. 5
Creativity - Every aspect of the game had me 100% engaged. 5
Horror - Much more subtle than the other games, but it was also the only game in the jam that managed to successfully jumpscare me when the upper floor presence came back after I thought it was gone. 4
Theme - The jewels in question are central to the plot, and while the curse never impacts the player it is very much present in the story. 5
My favorite game of the jam overall, and one I definitely recommend to anyone who happens to read this.
I'm so happy you enjoyed it so much! And you gave such a high rating to "Horror"-
I'm pleasantly surprised because it doesn't have much horror, but I certainly can't say I'm dissatisfied reading this.I'm honored it was your favorite game of the jam. ^^ I thank you so much for your kind words!
This is my first time playing one of Wisteria Sakana's games and what I like about them is that we immediately get into the heads of the characters and get to know them. It feels like we're already showing what kind of people we're playing with as they traverse a different dimension searching for The Golden Apples. Their use of Greek Mythology is more subtle compared to other games in this jam which makes those familiar with that mythology all the more fun to see. It's use of sound is actually very useful for setting the atmosphere and I liked that music was scarce in the beginning.
I hope to play more games from them soon!
Thank you so much for your words (Also on behalf of the sound designer)!
I'm happy you liked it (⌒▽⌒ゞ
