• The story in this entry certainly appeals to a specific kind of audience but despite that and localisation worries, it was written well and the player knew exactly what was going on. Something particularly clever was that, having seen the protag do the deed we still somewhat felt unsure of ourselves - and we wanted to believe that they hadn't! The visuals were incredibly high quality having been all created by the entrant, and the portraits matched the sprites beautifully. There was a good variety of characters with unique personalities, looks and feels about them, their custom rooms was also a particularly nice touch. The music matched the jaunty awkwardness of the game, and changed up when the mood did, and the story and dialogue do a great job of keeping the player engaged. The puzzles were a little simple and mostly involved 'fetching' items and walking about from place to place with little thinking required, but otherwise a very good, highly polished little entry. Very well done.
