The Hunt for Green NovemberNot bad for a first game! I like the art for the tile sets and I like how the character changes into a fish when they touch the water. The player character controls well.
The game could use more sounds effects and music, though I can understand those being lower priority when you're aiming to make all the assets yourself. I noticed the ladders are kind of buggy. I remember struggling a lot with programming ladders when I first started out.
Does the game have an ending? I ended up in this room in the level with the moving platforms and couldn't progress at all. Wasn't sure if I missed something. Overall, nice job on your first game and making the assets yourself!

Pavior Saviorthankyou :) unfortunately the game is not finished and ive mainly been using it as a way of learning how to do things in unity. I think the ladders being off is something to do with the colliders but i didnt have time to look into it. Your comments have helped me with what to focus on in the future for more polish :) thanks!
such an amazing first game , the best part is that you made it all by yourself i also made my game by my self except for a block ,your game needed some more sounds like music or small jump sound, also you need to define a use for the coins ,keep going thats a great start my friend

Strings From AboveGood job for a first game and doing most of the assets yourself! The art style was cute, and the hazards and level design felt very organic. Obviously a lot of room for improvement, but that's what these jams are for, and as far as a 2-week jams goes, this is better and more complete than some projects I've seen. Keep it up!

A Block EvolvingImpressive first entry! There are definitely some issues I noticed that are common when starting out with a platformer (from personal experience lmao) such as the player sometimes getting stuck to like the very edge and what-not and I would definitely appreciate some background music. Also I couldn't quite tell why I needed to collect coins and the coin grabbing sfx sounded more like a fire alarm. I think I may have gotten softlocked on level 3 or 4 I believe but maybe it's the end of the game idk. Anyways, main character turns into a fish, funniest shit I've ever seen!

Yeah its my first go and i was following a course that I bought so this is what i got but i have seen much better ways of doing movement etc. The good thing is i can recognise that those methods would work better so i must have learned something! And unfortunately I ran out of time to add more levels so sadly its just the 4 but im glad you like the fish transformation! Again Thanks for your feedback!
