i love chess and chess with a new idea is just great
Great artwork and a really clever simple twist on a classic. Took me a long time to adjust to the transformation rule but really made for a unique experience as a result. Nice job.
I like chess, and despite my failures at the game of 64 squares, I had to give this version a spin. I think my only suggestion would have been to make the pieces easier to distinguish. I had a few moment having to look a bit more carefully at the bishop in a sea of pawns. I loved the fact that you let us change the colors, though. Really nice.

Tried like 5 times and finally beat the AI lol, really fun game and I like how much the gameplay differs from original (boring) chess with the one added mechanic. The pieces at times were a little hard to see/differentiate on the board but overall it was a good experience for me, great submission :)
i'm not a huge chess guy but this was a really nice game, great take on the theme and it changes the strategy ALOT, which is super cool. well done!
