The art is great
Quite good art, it's hard to read the cards and play at the same time though
Really cool art style and a unique take on a card game without the traditional turn-based gameplay. I did feel like I needed a bit more time to read and plan with the cards, as my strategy ended up being a bit random due to the constant waves of enemies.
I love the cohesive style—between the cowboy-themed art and the western music, it really captures the vibe of the Wild West.
Hi! Thanks for liking the game art and music! You're right, we should add some buffer time before the enemies spawn in
Quite a fun card-battle game. I just don't see exactly how it fits into the theme?
Edit: Oh I see, this wasn't made for this jam, not even sure if the uploader is even the person who made the game.
Edit again: Just to clarify, an exact copy of this game was uploaded about 2 months ago by the same account under different credits. The game has since been taken down, but you'll notice the link to this game is "...high-time-showdown2"
Hi! I am the developer of the game. This is a tower defense game, so protect the enemies from attacking your tower, thus relating to the theme of towers in the jam
I just put all the gunslingers near the middle and I ended up coming to think of little strategy, maybe I just got lucky. The art looks cool though! I would love to get printed black and white cards of the units.
Interesting card battle concept, I don't know if I was playing as intended by filling up all lanes as quickly as possible but it worked for me.
Thank you for your comment! Yes, filling up the lanes could be one of the strategies. However, in the later waves, you may encounter vulture cards which can explode the tiles, blocking cards from moving past them.
