Simple, fast-paced games with colorful graphics and catchy audio, that require few or no explanations, can be played in short bursts, and usually require a lot of skill. Similar in style and spirit with the arcade game cabinets of the 80s and 90s.

Pixel Art refers to the charming, simplistic, retro/renaissance style of very-low-resolution graphics, such as from the 1977-1995 Atari, GameBoy, & Super Nintendo (SNES) eras.

Similar to roguelike games but generally with simpler or more forgiving rules & mechanics.
