I think the art is gorgeous and the story was interesting. I loved how inclusive the game was, proving it's super easy to add in BIPOC and gender/sexual identities without the negative responses from characters in the game. Like, they're normal people, why's it gotta be a problem?
Though I could tell there is a lot of love for these characters, the codex was full and too much to go over for me. I didn't want to read the entries in the middle of a conversation or scene, and when I went to go over them later, it just felt so intimidating.
I also thought some parts of the game felt like they had been edited later and didn't work as well with the story. There was a lot of walking around to tell people you had a plan, but not what the plan was, but that they should be ready for it. And I didn't really see the point in that. I guess more interaction between MC and characters? Perhaps I just didn't get what was supposed to be offered with that part of the story.
Overall, I really liked this game. I can't wait to see Call Me Under when it releases.
