is this the best game for telling a dramatic war amongst the stars game, where the physics doesnt really matter that much, ammo and money isnt an issue, yes the stakes are high and the backdrop is epic?

Damn Skippy it is.

as much as I love retro D6 pools and funky dice pools they dont half get in the way of a good story. this strips out crunch in favour of narrative control via the BoB/NDNM token mechanics and leave a pleasant blue milk taste in the mouth.
