I played this game way back when it came out.  I was in college, thinking a lot about the kind of game designed I wanted to be, and this game really sparked my imagination.  It still pops into my head every now and then even today.  The game succeeds brilliantly in making the player feel like they have stumbled upon something kept secret.  A place of once immense power, and dark rituals that is now ancient and long dead.
