I wonder if there's a certain back story or legend to this as I really do not know anything about fishing near a Shinto shrine. I know of one tale where this giant gold fish grants wishes to an elderly couple but this is far from what happens in this game. 

The overall aesthetic of the game is extremely pleasing and loved the small but vase environment you created. Seeing this ginormous catfish snag and eat me was pretty terrifying and is something I'll never forget.
