Altogether decent game. Has some big issues.
Core game systems are good. Wish there was a boss rush but that's not like a problem or anything.
Perfect soundtrack.
Lampshading annoying sidequests by going "oh boy what an annoying sidequest!" doesn't make it less annoying.
The tone and plot is largely straining against itself. The humor and plot try to buy more investment than they've earned. Would have been better if it leaned into quirky or comedy instead of trying both (that is, if it took itself more or less seriously...).

I would probably buy future games from the devs but pretty on the fence about this one.
