This exceeded my expectations by a long shot. I found MariObama back in like 2014 and after a few years just assumed it was never actually going to happen, but then this game's existence is dropped on us in 2018. I had expected a novel but ultimately mediocre short game that I'd enjoy well enough but not really have any urge to go out of my way to play it at any point.

What I got instead is one of my favourite games ever. Maybe 3 days after its release is a bit early to say that, but honestly my interest in games in general has waned heavily and there are few games I've enjoyed as much as this in the past year. I 100%'d this game twice in the past 3 days and have put in a total of like 20-ish hours, which you'd be hard pressed to see me do in a week's time normally.

I was originally going to write some lengthy review here but I don't care enough to do that. What I will say is that 6-4 is the best level and 7-4 is the worst :-) Point is, good fucking job. The fact that this is free is both fantastic and kind of unfortunate because this absolutely deserves some monetary support, even if it's always been a passion project.
