I'm probably biased because I also did a version of Rusty Blade too, so I'm going to just post useful feedback and hope it helps you with future games.
Graphics
The graphics were very well done. The two characters were awesome and everything fit well together. The only bit of weirdness was the moving stars.
Writing
Excellent. I really enjoyed reading through the messages... it was a hidden gem that revealed the story without throwing it in your face. Well done.
UI
Generally good, but I found the inventory a little frustrating (trying to go sideways to get to the pocket lint but instead going to another menu). I never really got the hang of the UI, but you had a lot going on in the various tabs, so it was quite an important part of the game.
Controls
The game played easily enough, the controls were tight and responsive.
Completeness
This is a fully playable game with a start, middle, and end, and I think that is praiseworthy by itself.
Sound
Clearly a lot of work went into the sounds for this game, and I think it added a nice level of polish.
Overall
This game reminds me a little of Moirai, a game which also raises moral questions in an innovative way. I really liked how you interpreted Daniel's cartridge design. The fact that you delivered a complete game, with sound and everything, is commendable.
Well done!
