A sweet, engaging story. The puzzles are fun, and although they're a bit consistently easy, it works well with the pace of the game. 

The only real downside of the game for me (playing the linux version), is that the white text does not stand out at all against white backgrounds; this didn't seem to be much of a problem until the Italy segment. I could read just enough to have the gist of things, but I decided that that character was hard of hearing to make it part of the game for myself. There were a lot of white clouds behind the text at the end of the game though, and that was dissatisfying.  

Overall though, I love this game genre, and Milkmaid and Embracelet make me eager to see future games from this developer. <3
