Voice of the Phoenix rated Dragonhearts

A downloadable game.

If you have ever been interested in a TTRPG like Firebrands but wanted a more explicitly Queer and dragon-focused premise, this is the game for you.

Character generation provides enough prompts to feel interesting and flexible yet never stifling, the various mini-games give so many tantalizing options to smooch, fight, or all of the above, and the lore of the premise is a joy to play with. More than anything, this game handles romance with grace without ever feeling like it demands a certain way of considering love and intimacy. You can fight and smooch your love interest all in one game and if that isn't a selling point i'm not sure what is.

Being completely honest, this game is often what I consider in place of Firebrands as not only does the material feel explicitly Queer, explicitly tender, and explicitly focused on consent, it is just really solid overall.

Play this with friends, lovers, or just folks you want to explore smultzy flirt feels with safely. The game's safety mechanics are robust enough to enable the kinds of conversations that make more tender gameplay possible and really make for a fun time. Plus, who doesn't want to smooch shape-shifting dragons?

Certainly not me.
