This supplement picks up the premise of the original game and runs with it. If you thought the the base game's rooms and selves were poetic and impactful, you're going to love this.

It introduces all new mechanics, some of them incredibly meta and esoteric, for playing the game at a whole new level. It picks apart what a dungeon crawl means and the kinds of stories it can tell, and how you interact with them as a player.
