Liquid Egg Product rated PELAGIUM origins

A browser game made in HTML5.

The game's worth trying, and it's fun for a while. The simple rules work well for an easy to get into strategy game.

However, the late game is a chore. To get a unit from a faraway city to the front lines, you have to move it every single turn. It would greatly help the flow to allow us to tell a unit to move to a distant hex.

The RNG works well once lots of units are on the field. It forces you to adapt when a battle goes unexpectedly. Early on, it's problematic. There are maps where you can contest an early city on turn 2 or 3. The rest of the game's difficulty is greatly affected on who wins that dice throw.

The AI is an adequate opponent for a while. However, it doesn't understand how to use artillery, and never or rarely builds it.

A random map generator would increase the longevity of the game.
