You should really check Whispers from the Deep! It's a very wholesome book about a couple of awkward plane nerds, which means if you are reading this that's probably you!!

The first person narrative works wonderfully to set you in the story. I personally had never read something written this way, and it made me feel so deeply identified and just comforted by the book as a whole.
