An awesome 8-bit demake of Doom, with some genuine surprises, some great music, and a surprisingly smooth UI and in-game engine. Definitely recommend for those whom think Doom doesn't look retro or old-school enough, those who've never played Doom, or even Doom veterans looking for a different challenge and some unique and surprising twists and takes on the various elements of Doom. Makes me look forward to potentially seeing other classic FPSes done in Pico-8 or other iconic IPs done in Pico-8.
