I played this game and we failed almost every roll made involving my character and it produced this beautifully sad story arc for a character that I was so impressed by.

The simplicity of the stats and dice system is really impressive that maps so well to the genre, and it's surprising it hasn't been used in other places (am I working on a hack? maybe). Such a great example of mapping the vibe of the fiction to the game itself!
