lilithkismet rated Dawndusk Dream Sewer

A downloadable game for Windows.

Very short (a bit over 5 minutes if you're taking your time) surreal descent deeper into the dream sewer, where you can talk to one (or two) strange character(s) on each level to unlock entry to the next. Unsettling background music and exuberantly florid prose that gets darker in tone the deeper you go. Blocky voxel art. As a fan of weird stuff and fancy words, I like the core concept here. What kept it from a higher rating from me is just how small the game is. Each level is a little postage stamp with no place to go and nothing to interact with other than a short conversation with the resident sewer dweller(s), then you climb down to the next and repeat until you reach the ending. Only a couple of the convos have a dialogue choice involved, and it's over very quickly.
