The story took me by surpise at first, which is a surpise to say the least. Very few stories do that to me,  in any medium. So, my attention was quickly hightened,  even being as tired I always am.  When  I started to deep dive the MC, I knew this is one story I need to see all the way to the end. I can't wait for more (i can though )!
