Sword Saints sets up a fascinating, weird, dark and obscure setting and a premise that could seem difficult to approach at first... but boy oh boy does it deliver on ALL fronts!

The rules system has highly interesting narrative implications, the different character archetypes are extremely rad, and the setting, once you get into it, offers such a rich variety of interesting stories. Personally, I love love LOVE dark, apocalyptic sci-fantasy in infinitely giant city structures (Blame being one of my all time favorites), and this hits exactly the right spot. I recognize though that this is a niche genre, so if you haven't had a chance to approach these kind of stories yet - do yourself a favor and get a game of Sword Saints together.
