I have my problems with this game. It's a bit expensive for what amounts to a 10-minute walking simulator, there's no real player choice, and there's no real gameplay of any kind. All that, and yet I absolutely loved my time with it.
This game reeks style. It's more of a short film exercise in condensed, minimalist storytelling than a real game, and it tells a gripping story: spies, heists, daring escape, betrayal... with no dialogue, whatsoever. Everything is told through context and environment, leaving the player/audience to interpret for themselves. My biggest problem is that there isn't more, that we only get this one short story (though Gravity Bone works as a nice companion piece). Otherwise, definitely a worthwhile experience.
Though I recommend this game, it's definitely not for everyone. If you're interested in "games as art" or are a game developer looking for some environmental storytelling inspiration, this game is right up your alley. Just... maybe wait for a sale.
