This was everything I was hoping for in a sequel. A delightful romp starring second-generation Asian high schoolers being queer and messy and trying to figure themselves out. If you haven't played either of these, I HIGHLY recommend them.

On a personal note, the conflicting cultures between first-generation parents and second-generation children spoke to me directly, and all of the concerns, losses, and confusion felt very familiar. 

I think it's an incredibly well-written narrative, it speaks about gender, queerness, and cultural diaspora, and it directly makes references to small details from the first game that you'll catch if you played it. If any of this speaks to you, please play it, it's fantastic.
