The writing really works for me. not just the character voice but the narration about the world and the culture that surrounds the characters. the toxicity of Klubnichka doesnt exist in a vacuum, her isolation makes perfect sense. not just the hard work it takes to maintain her livllhood but the mental strain of having to seem together, and avoiding seeming weak at all costs. So to even seek companionship and to be vulnerable and to lean on others is discouraged. so instead of dealing with that stress she just stops participating in society all together. and it probably compounds, since Yablochka shows that people obviously care about Klubnichka but that its obfuscated behind the walls they put up to protect their own egos; their society (and yes our own) predisposes them to have to particlular about how they reach out for connection. The thing Yablochka says about her valuable time , as an artist and person on the internet, feel at once very relatable but also very anxeity enducing. if it was me, i'd have a hard time not feeling rushed whenever she's around under the best of circumstances.

The art is gorgeous. love the moe and magical girl adjacent attire! and using the clone scenerio for a dual purpose with assets and weaving it into the story was awesome!  the style in particular was delicious. of course there is a horradorable element to how the art juxtoposes the themes, but just the context of the hyper individualist bootstrappy lore of the village with the anime cute girls was most disqueiting part for me. Its like if my little pony was built on the dispostion Ayn Randian cottege core. The girls in the village are cherry and do for themselves, but to their own peril, and if burnout sets in; they can't or won't allow themselves to rely on others...i'm extrapolating but that implication stuck with me. also the piano!

this is a really concise picture of codependance and possiveness. selfcest is such a fun concept to explore this. the idea that a clone of oneself would consent to everything the original wants is a nice starting premise. the ideas of coercively effected consent and telling oneself that the other cant be hurt is so real. 

So much abuse is explored in stories thru someone who is  willfiully an asshole, but often times people tell their own narratives to build a framwork for how what they are doing isn't doing harm. and when the victim wants to please and is naiave its so much easier to project onto them whatever justifaction you want.

the story also made us think of the common shapphic yearning of "oh your so soft" "oh and your so soft" theres such an irony in this being selfcest since there are folks who treat intimate encounters like this (not in an abusive way ,just the curiousity and explorationg of 'do i feel this way?'). the intimacy displayed in this VN reminds us of the good and bad that happens when queer folks are learning about eachother thru  sexual intimacy.

also a fan of the fruit gore, and im darkly curious to see more 

Also the moment of realizing the clone is just not anxious or codependant like her creator thru the subtext felt very neat to notice."oh i headn't even noticed you we're gone for so long"

even in its current state this game gave me a lot to suck on. great work!
