Really effective writing with the limits imposed. I like how it deals both in metaphor and the very real feelings of its characters. "A body is all I need to kill and not a metaphor" is in of itself a metaphor, showing that it's difficult to separate our grief from the monuments to death we cling onto, whether we do so out of grief or anger.
