Aesthetic : charming palette (esp. how it blends between day&night) and cute procedural animations : gorgeous, as always!
Gameplay : Surprisingly challenging considering the presentation
Balancing resources isn't that hard but managing your village gets micro-intensive very fast!
I really enjoyed the tiny epiphanies, like figuring out that if you build your wall next to trees, you can micro the worker from lumberjack to builder, saving a trip to the stockpile.
Or when I first managed to make a monster run in circles by making whoever had aggro retreat.
