this game is like requim for a dream for 10lish0. it really reveals in hypersexuality, exploitation gore and trauma . its levity really makes the dead doves easier to swallow but gosh is this shit bleak.

i thought that the title was figurative, but its multidimentianal! on every level u could apply the title would probably be appropriate. this game is truly not for the faint of heart.

meat grindr is a challenging work. its satire is sobering at its highest points. and it never loses the edge it  contains of just how rotten the adults are in this game? it really validated my childhood trauma of being treated like someone toy or rabbid dog (or both or worse).

this game is a tragedy of the destruction of youth. and the desire to kill someone's innocence. its hyperbolic but in a weird way the calluousness of our society and of people is reflected perfectly in this fiction. maybe we live in such a bonker's world now that the dialouge hits as pretty realisitic. most people really do see k1ds as expendible objects or at best unruley pets. 

we really hate how taboo art is getting censored and miligned so much. Meat Grindr has so much to say but is willing to also having a lot of fun with its perversion. so many keep saying both cant exist in a work. so many people demand u make it clear in big bold words (sometimes even in the text of the work) that u find what happens in ur work contemptuous. that if the author is having fun with dark shit that makes them bad.

the beauty of the game jam is of course making work in a space when u dont have to step on eggshells with ur target audience...knowing there will be people interacting with ur work despite it being very triggering to some. we love that its allowed a work like this to exist

but this work is so very...effective and we think its a shame that only a certain kinda person will even give it a chance, let alone be able to stomach its first act.  but there is a lot here to dissect that i dont have time to here but which i think i'll probably be returning to the work to explore more. particualry what the game says about gender and internet brain rot. not to mention how the adults in our lives set us up for failure growing up

Meat Grinr is a beauty of horror and lingere
