Similar to Realm Invader, this is a mixed bag for me. But unlike Realm Invader, this got worse over time.

The setting is one I love and it's uncommon. One where magic, tech, AND, superheroes exist openly in an urban fantasy. Honestly, it might be one of a kind. Only DC and Marvel come to mind, but even they don't have magic be an open skill taught in schools. This is what draw me in.

Then you have the characters and romance. Mostly hit or miss, but there are more hits than misses. The beginning of nearly all the romances are good, like with Heather. Or even great, like with Cassy.

But as the main story progresses, they get increasingly worse and in some cases downright sickening. You see, you don't have much of a choice but to romance everyone. Fine, it's a harem game. The problem comes in where most of these girls are unaware of each other.

They don't know that you're out playing the field. The game even call you out on it, saying you're cheating on Heather. This is a fact.

This makes all those wholesome scenes worthless and all passionate love confessions hollow. There is a right and wrong way to build a harem, this isn't it.

Finally, we have Molly. Never before have I felt a bit ill to romance a character. She acts waaaaay too juvenile to be seen as an adult. I can't help but feel like I'm taking advantage of her. Speaking of, this also happens with Heather.

Not only is she being cheated on, but due to the Enstranged Fates spell, she is mentally influenced to like what the protagonist likes. The harem situation for example, the one developing behind her back.

This honestly reminds of School Days, but the player won't be punished for these actions. Probably because you have no real choice in the matter if you want to progress the main plot.

Despite all that though, there were moments that were still well done if I ignore most of what's surrounding it.

Cassy's plot is the best overall.

Alnilam's romance is the best and she is the only one fully onboard with the harem.

The elf sisters plot is interesting and helps expand the lore.

These things and the setting prevent it from getting any lower. It having superheroes also convinced me to make a YouTube video about it so.... the game is doing something right.
