This is such a good ass game, it takes the concept of something like travelling on maps and uses that momentum to push it's horror aspects, lore, and art

The retro theme also serves it's own horror, it makes you feel like you're back in a memory that wasn't really ever yours.

I do also love the implied lore that we were the pilot of a plane crash, our guilt consuming us as possibly the only one that lived. Maybe the pilot yearned to travel once more, but the guilt fresher than blood held us back from doing so... Resorting to a digital and "safer" version
