Itch.io really got some great stuff, from games, assets to (Game) dev tools
While tools on Itch.io are often passion projects, fulfill specific needs - mostly they can´t be considered "state-of-the-art" or "professional", without saying they are bad.

BUT! Pixel Composer is such a outstanding piece of software - it´s probably one of the best (2D) FX, "Animated" Sprite system I´ve ever come across!
