A very heartfelt story with a diverse cast of charming characters. Silver Daze is a game I think about quite a bit after finishing it.
It's very clear from the beginning the story is based on personal experience and isn't afraid to lay it on the table, I usually roll my eyes at these kinds of stories but it was presented in such a raw and unapologetic way that it came back around to being charming. 

While I would prefer to leave a 4.5 review this platform doesn't allow me to do that. The reason being is some parts of the overworld kinda felt like they dragged on a bit and I think the combat system was needlessly complex at times although I do appreciate that it was unafraid to try and reinvent the wheel as it where so I don't wholly hold that against it. 

One of my favorite parts of Sawyer Friend's games is the soundtrack, and this one absolutely doesn't disappoint. After finishing the game I Immediately bought the soundtrack on Bandcamp.

If you enjoy JRPG's with fun characters, stunning artwork, and a jamming soundtrack you should most certainly checking it out.
